After being defeated by the Red Queen, the last remaining survivors wake up in a seemingly normal but later bizarre version of New York City, one where the zombie virus is no more and all of their dreams, including loved ones, are alive. However, as each one of them discovers the truth about the fake reality they are living in, the group of survivors needs to get back together to face the reality of the undead, where former allies are zombies, while trying to break down the fake cured reality Wanda is creating that makes all the remaining survivors ignorant of what's actually going on.
