Dr. Leslie Scott (Sarah Paulson), a licensed trauma therapist with a mysterious past, has started a discreet clinic for superhumans, vigilantes, and morally ambiguous metahumans. Each episode focuses on one session (or multiple sessions) between Dr. Scott and a patient from the darker corners of the Marvel Universe—not to judge them, but to help them reconcile their identities with their pain. As the series progresses, we slowly uncover Dr. Scott’s own troubled past and why she chose this path.
