In the aftermath of the Secret Wars, although the fabric of the universe has been mended, deep scars remain; seeking atonement for her past in this new order, Wanda Maximoff operates an occult shop named "The Last Door" in a shadowy corner of New York, serving as a sanctuary for the desperate with magical afflictions. However, when a series of brutal murders targeting magic users begins to plague the city, FBI Agent Cleary is forced to knock on Wanda's door, dragging her into a dangerous investigation lurking within the shadows. As the investigation deepens, the duo confronts Nicola Zosimos (Hexfinder), a technological zealot who views magic as a disease to be eradicated, and the ancient entity Rio Vidal (Death), who has come to claim Wanda's soul. Caught between Hexfinder’s deadly anti-magic technology and Rio Vidal’s inevitable summons, Wanda must fight a physical battle for survival while proving that "The Last Door" is the final stand not only for those she protects but for her own redemption as well.
