Mädchen Amick (born December 12, 1970) is an American actress who rose to prominence in the early 1990s. Her name "Mädchen" means "girl" in German, though she was born in Sparks, Nevada. Her most iconic role came in 1990 when David Lynch cast her as Shelly Johnson in the cult classic series "Twin Peaks." Jamie Howlett was born in Alberta, Canada during the late 1880s, to rich farm owners – Joan and Elijah Howlett, even though she is actually the illegitimate daughter of the Howletts’ groundskeeper, Theresa Logan. One day, Theresa returns to the Howlett manor and kills Joan Howlett. In retaliation, young Jamie kills Theresa with bone claws that emerge from the back of her hands, as her mutation manifests. She flees and grows into manhood on a mining colony, adopting the name “Logan”. When Logan accidentally killed someone, she flees the colony and lives in the wilderness among wolves, until she is captured and placed in a jail cell. Victoria Creed, also known as Sabretooth, frees Logan, as they both escape. During the World War II, Logan and Victoria continue their careers as mercenaries, and they are later recruited by Team X, a black ops unit.
