Yuri informs him that Shocker has violated his parole, and asks Spider-Man to stop him. Spider-Man confronts Shocker, who flees across the city. Peter chases after him, and captures him. Spider asks what he needs the money for, as he knows the police are watching him. Shocker doesn't respond, showing fear. After capturing Shocker, Peter receives a call from MJ, who asks for his help to find out something about the mask used by the bandits. Peter goes to F.E.A.S.T, ask Martin Li, who has a degree in Art History. Peter shows the mask to Li, who seems uncomfortable, and says that the symbol on the inside of the mask means "Demon". He says the mask could be linked with dangerous people, and tells MJ not to continue investigating. Peter calls MJ, explaining what Li said and says that the mask must have reminded him of some childhood trauma. Peter goes to the lab, where he sees Otto working on the prosthetics on a man who has lost his arm. Mayor Norman Osborn appears and says the place will be closed for dangerous conditions. Otto says he is abusing power. Norman tries to convince Otto to return to Oscorp, and Peter to create a business with Harry, once he returns from Europe. Peter receives a call from Yuri, saying that Shocker has escaped custody, only to be released by a guard who has acted strangely. He makes his way to the bank, where he confronts Shocker. Spider discovers that he is working for the Demons. After defeating him, Yuri informs him that he was sent to the Raft.
