In the lab, Otto shows that he is using a neural implant, and using 4 tentacle-like prostheses. Peter analyzes the interface, and sees that it has flaws. He says that not enough testing has been done to use the interface without risks. Otto is annoyed, but accepts and hangs up. As Peter leaves, Otto sees Norman gloating over Li's arrest, which infuriates Octavius, smashing the television with his robotic arms. Peter goes to the F.E.A.S.T. and talks to Miles about Li, who says he'll keep helping. Peter talks to May, but when he sees on the news that the truck carrying the Devil's Breath was attacked, he disappears. Yuri says that Ryker's Island has been attacked. Peter takes a helicopter ride with her. A mass breakout is underway, and Spider is trying to minimize the damage. The Raft is having problems, and when Spider and Yuri get there, Electro hits the helicopter. Peter manages to save Yuri and heads to look for Electro. On the roof, Spider confronts Electro. Peter is surprised by the arrival of Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion and Mr. Negative. Spider tries to fight back but is defeated. Trying to escape, Peter is once again surprised, but this time by Otto Octavius, now as Doctor Octopus. He tells Spider not to interfere, and throws him. The villains disperse, having specific jobs to do. Octopus goes downtown and unleashes Devil's Breath. A day later, Miles and Aunt May are helping the sick at the shelter. May hides that she is sick. Mayor Osborn declared Spider a fugitive.
