Peter Parker is Midtown High’s quiet, invisible student—the nerdy loner with round glasses, baggy clothes, and a knack for being overlooked. While nearly every boy in school quietly admires Mary Jane Watson from afar, Peter can’t act on his feelings, often fading into the background of hallways and classrooms, noticed only in fleeting moments before disappearing again. Mocked by most of his peers and ignored by the rest, Peter has no real friends. His only connection is Harry Osborn—but even that is complicated, as Harry mostly uses Peter’s smarts to get his homework done, leaving Peter isolated yet that doesn't make him untouched of Flash Thompson’s bullying. On top of the everyday struggles of high school life, Peter carries a heavier burden: grieving the recent loss of his Uncle Ben, a trauma that shapes his quiet, reflective nature.
