Maximus has been quietly building his own army of Inhumans, seeking to reshape the world into his vision of order through chaos. Using a mysterious artifact tied to time and reality, he starts destabilizing key global events, threatening to tear apart the fabric of reality itself. Coulson, Skye, Grant, Melinda and the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. are pulled back together to confront this dangerous new threat, with Luis, Jimmy, and Darcy rounding out the team to help uncover the artifact's secrets.
