Thomas William Hiddleston (born 9 February 1981) is an British and American actor. He gained international fame portraying Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), beginning with Thor in 2011 and including the Disney+ series Loki (2021–2023). Hiddleston started his film career with Joanna Hogg's films Unrelated (2007) and Archipelago (2010). In 2011, Hiddleston portrayed F. Scott Fitzgerald in Woody Allen's romantic comedy Midnight in Paris and appeared in Steven Spielberg's War Horse. That year, he was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award. He continued working with auteurs in independent films, including Terence Davies' drama The Deep Blue Sea (2012), Jim Jarmusch's vampire film Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) and Guillermo del Toro's horror film Crimson Peak (2015). He also played the troubled country music singer Hank Williams in the biopic I Saw The Light (2015) and led the big-budget adventure film Kong: Skull Island (2017). On television, Hiddleston starred in and executive produced the limited series The Night Manager (2016), for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. Hiddleston made his stage debut in Journey's End in 1999. He continued acting in theatre, including in the West End productions of Cymbeline (2007) and Ivanov (2008). He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Newcomer in a Play for his role in Cymbeline. He was nominated for the same award for his role as Cassio in Othello (2008). Hiddleston starred as the title character in a production of Coriolanus (2013–2014), receiving a nomination for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor. He made his Broadway debut in a 2019 revival of Harold Pinter's drama Betrayal, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. In Medevil era Sir Percy was the Black Knight but sacrificed himself for King Arthur so Merlin cast a spell that whoever weilded Percys sword would be able to see his ghost and hear his conscience, in present day Percys descendant Dane Whitman is a young party animal and sports player in Britain one day he hears his grandad passed away and he inherits his Castle, but Danes uncle Nathan wants the castle and creates a sword and suit to challenge him for his grandfathers possessions. Agents Jessica Drew and Brian Braddock come to inform Whitman of Garretts terrorist actions and help hunt him down then Loki and Aurora turn up and teach Whitman about his ancestors and give him his grandfathers sword and introduce him to Jacques Duquesne AKA Swordsman to teach him how to fight with a sword. So Whitman, Duquesne, Drew, Braddock and Loki go to fight Garrett to stop him resurrecting Mordred and Morgana. All the team except Whitman fight Garretts army of dead soldiers whilst Dane and Nathan fight and the fight ends with Nathan choosing to jump of the top of the castle instead of being arrested. Braddock and Drew offer Dane a job with MI 13 but he turns the offer down. Dane explores the Castle and finds a horse and flys off on it. Mid Credit Scene:- See Garrett get up off the ground and takes off his Helmut revealing a green alien face he gets out a communicator and says “United Kingdom Secure” then you see Braddock is another alien.
