There may be a well-hailed bunch when considering the acting masters of the past, and an almost equally well-loved crew still living it up today. However, it can scarcely be denied that there is something of a clear leader when it comes to the most respected performer in cinema history: Marlon Brando. Brando brought the deepest kind of raw emotion and the simplest perfection to every role onscreen. Yet his life that the camera couldn't capture was far from wonderful. His storied history of rises and falls, unwanted mood changes, and personal estrangement creates a varied and compelling story of the life of this genius for the ages - a story that deserves to be told.
