A shuttle bus traveling from Anchorage to Fairbanks breaks down in the middle of nowhere during a brutal Alaskan winter, veering off course into an isolated stretch of wilderness. The passengers, cold and desperate, split into two groups: some venture into the forest to find help, while others, including a reserved former wilderness guide and a resourceful young woman with a passion for folklore, stay behind. As the hours drag on, eerie noises echo through the trees, and strange tracks appear in the snow, hinting at something unnatural stalking them. The woman recalls legends of the Wendigo, a supernatural predator drawn to hunger and despair. When the rescue group fails to return, paranoia grips the remaining passengers, who are soon forced to confront the creature’s horrifying reality. As tensions rise, the guide and the woman must work together to outwit the Wendigo and protect the others, their bond deepening amid the terror. In a final confrontation, they uncover a dark secret tied to one of their own, but the encounter leaves them haunted, with the Wendigo’s shadow still looming over the wilderness.
