Karen Sheila Gillan (/ˈɡɪlən/; born 28 November 1987) is a Scottish actress and filmmaker. She gained recognition for her work in British film and television, particularly for playing Amy Pond, a primary companion to the Eleventh Doctor in the science fiction series Doctor Who (2010–2013). Her early film roles include the thriller Outcast (2010) and the romantic comedy Not Another Happy Ending (2013). She also worked on the stage in Britain, appearing in John Osborne's play Inadmissible Evidence (2011). Gillan transitioned to Hollywood, starring in the horror film Oculus (2013) and playing the lead in the ABC sitcom Selfie (2014). She achieved stardom for portraying Nebula in several films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe(2014–2023), which are among the highest-grossing films of all time, and Ruby Roundhouse in the fantasy films Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). She also wrote and directed the drama film The Party's Just Beginning (2018), which she starred in. She has starred in the comedy film Gunpowder Milkshake (2021), the thriller film Dual (2022), the coming-of-age film Late Bloomers (2023), and returned to British television with the series Douglas Is Cancelled (2024). for Lily Evans/Potter in Marauders Era

I'm writing a fic involving a whole bunch of Harry Potter characters... It's mainly centred around the Marauders, as a marauders-era AU (time travel involved), so will include them, their extended families, classmates/school friends, teachers, and other canon characters they might know during their hogwarts years/the first wizarding war/etc. I've also included a few other characters (canon and original) who they might interact with/mention (e.g. the founders, merlin and morgana, etc. - via memories, portraits, visions, etc.) to better visualise them. Finally, because this is an AU, the marauders' futures will be different to canon, so I've included a bunch of original kid characters that will be in my fic... (e.g., children of lily and james, children of sirius and remus, etc.)... let me know what you think of the casting. In terms of casting, I'm not being too strict with age... mainly because my fic spans so many generations (from Dumbledore to older Black family generations to the Marauders' generation to their children...). I've tried to be at least plausible, if not accurate... e.g.: marauders and co = ages 35-45 (obviously, how I'm casting them is by referencing how these actors/actresses looked at a younger age, more like the marauders' ages). parents/etc. = ages 45-55. grandparents/teachers/etc. = 60+. kids/younger generations = mostly under 30. Unfortunately, there are some fancasts I just love too much to let go of, regardless of whether the ages work... Any recommendations are appreciated!! Sorry for the long, rambling explanation. (All other fancasts are valid, but I'll only include the ones I'm considering for my fic.)
