Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson (né Johnson; born 13 June 1990) is a British actor. His accolades include a Golden Globe Award, in addition to nominations for two British Academy Film Awards and a British Independent Film Award. As a child actor, Taylor-Johnson performed in films including Shanghai Knights (2003), The Illusionist (2006), and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008). He had his breakthrough performance as John Lennon in the biopic Nowhere Boy (2009), directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, whom he married in 2012, adding her surname. He gained recognition for his portrayal of the title character in Kick-Ass (2010) and its sequel, Kick-Ass 2 (2013), as well as for performances in the crime thriller Savages (2012), the period drama Anna Karenina (2012), and the monster film Godzilla (2014). Taylor-Johnson next portrayed the Marvel Cinematic Universe character Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). For playing a psychopathic drifter in the thriller film Nocturnal Animals (2016), he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has since appeared in the action films Tenet (2020), Bullet Train (2022) and The Fall Guy (2024), as well as starring roles in the horror films Nosferatu (2024) and 28 Years Later (2025). I'm writing a fic involving a whole bunch of Harry Potter characters... It's mainly centred around the Marauders, as a marauders-era AU (time travel involved), so will include them, their extended families, classmates/school friends, teachers, and other canon characters they might know during their hogwarts years/the first wizarding war/etc. I've also included a few other characters (canon and original) who they might interact with/mention (e.g. the founders, merlin and morgana, etc. - via memories, portraits, visions, etc.) to better visualise them. Finally, because this is an AU, the marauders' futures will be different to canon, so I've included a bunch of original kid characters that will be in my fic... (e.g., children of lily and james, children of sirius and remus, etc.)... let me know what you think of the casting. In terms of casting, I'm not being too strict with age... mainly because my fic spans so many generations (from Dumbledore to older Black family generations to the Marauders' generation to their children...). I've tried to be at least plausible, if not accurate... e.g.: marauders and co = ages 35-45 (obviously, how I'm casting them is by referencing how these actors/actresses looked at a younger age, more like the marauders' ages). parents/etc. = ages 45-55. grandparents/teachers/etc. = 60+. kids/younger generations = mostly under 30. Unfortunately, there are some fancasts I just love too much to let go of, regardless of whether the ages work... Any recommendations are appreciated!! Sorry for the long, rambling explanation. (All other fancasts are valid, but I'll only include the ones I'm considering for my fic.)
