Inspired by my struggle with vocal health issues as an autistic musical theatre performer. This Hulu medical drama series focuses on a young pediatric ENT Dr. Justin Acker who works at Manhattan Children's Hospital. He is known as the hottest doctor at the hospital. Dr. Acker has dated lots of people, but they were only with him for his looks and his money. They were your classic gold-diggers. Even though he loves being a doctor, his wish is to settle down and get married to someone who will love him for not just his looks and his money, but who he is as a person. He finds his one true love is the widowed mother of a fifteen-year-old autistic high school performer who has lost her voice. I was inspired after watching Jonathan as Dr. Paul David on And Just Like That. I wish Carrie had said yes to the facelift because I wanted to see him in the operating room. I also wish we had a scene where we could see him doing the Botox injections on Anthony. Jonathan makes such a cute doctor and me and a bunch of other fans on Instagram were wanting to see him play a pediatric doctor. I of course will be playing Arielle because I'm autistic.
