Lobo has now convinced Luthor that he can be trusted as an "ally", and goes after Superman's mother, Martha Kent. Using Superman's frustration, the Man of Steel falls into a trap, and must hope that Ursa can be trusted to protect Lois and their son, Jonathon. Meanwhile, Lobo begins to drop clues as to who the mysterious hirer is.
