Man of Steel III: Solar Eclipse is a 2015 superhero film based on the DC Comics hero Superman, while also featuring Wonder Woman. It is the third film in the DCEU, and the third film of Phase 1. It was released on August 7, 2015. It has been 4 months since the previous film and Superman has been defeating Earthly threats, as well as some more cosmic threats. However, Superman is now against a very new and different villain, a strange mythical being named Eclipso. He learns of his vulnerability to magic and gets possessed by him, where he starts wrecking havoc. A heroine named Wonder Woman then eventually exorcises the being from his body, and while the being finds a new host, Superman must team up with Wonder Woman to stop him before he destroys the planet.
