An infant named Kal-El is sent by his father Jor-El, from the planet Krypton to save him from its impending doom. He is then found by Jonathan and Martha Kent, and they raise him as Clark Kent. He grows up without a place in the world and it's only when another Kryptonian named General Zod escapes The Phantom Zone where he has to figure out who he really is and save the planet from their destruction.
