An older man who runs an inn and brothel that Don Quixote mistakes for a castle. He is kind to Don Quixote and goes along with his delusions (mainly because he wants his money). Before he leaves, Don Quixote asks him to dub him a real knight, which the innkeeper does, dubbing Don Quixotethe Knight of the Woeful Countenace.
