Teenagers always feel different, but these three teenagers are really different, they are mermaids. Trying to keep her special powers a secret is difficult for a fearless princess named Maia and her best human friends, Rose and Emily. When they are not at school, they use their magical powers to save sea turtles and rescue those in need, to defeat the evil pirate Raventhomas and the witch Tabithitalaura. Local jock Bully Spike and his snobbish girlfriend Rachel Robins want Maia and her friends when they become mermaids. But the girls head east to keep their adventures hidden, except for their human friends Mike, Courtney, Sean and Rory, who help them.
