Nearly six months have passed since Sir MacGregor was killed by the diabolical Peter Pan, who was subsequently banished to the infernal dimension alongside Hastur. Since then, Gloria has focused primarily on caring for the many fantastical creatures inhabiting her mentor's estate, often aided by Kenchiro, who acts as a father figure to her. However, Jack Griffin arrives seeking her help ; during recent reconnaissance, he learned of a remote location far from civilization, an island in the Bermuda Triangle, where a major sporting hunt is set to take place, targeting unique and incredibly rare creatures. Gloria, Kenchiro, and many of "her" creatures set sail with the Invisible Man to put a stop to it. Yet, upon arriving at the island, which houses, among other things, a massive, long-abandoned amusement park, they realize the place is frozen in time, and that the most dangerous hunter present is none other than the legendary adventurer Allan Quatermain ! Yet, this man, supposedly dead for over a century, appears to be under the control of a far more... chaotic entity.
