Taaruk Raina is an actor, YouTuber, Song composer, singer, and TV presenter. He went on to assist Aditya Chopra in the film Befikre (2016). And the following year, he debuted with Dil Hai Hindustani by hosting the singing reality show. He also owns the YouTube channel Jumbo Jatts along with Prit Kamani, another famous YouTuber. He collaborated with Manasi Mulherkar and lent his voice as a playback singer for the Happy Ending Song in the movie High Jack (2018). He got the lead role in the film Purple (2018), for which he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival. He then appeared in the Drama serial Pawan and Pawan & Pooja (2020). He also appeared in the Drama Songs of Paradise starring Saba Azad, Soni Razdan, and Zain Khan Durrani. He was seen in the web series on Zee 5, The Broken News (2022), and has also played Late actor Rishi Kapoor's son in the film Sharmaji Namkeen (2022). His performance has been praised well in a role in the popular series Jugaadistan (2022) on Lionsgate Play in 2022. Raina got his share of success with the web series Mismatched (2020) in 2022- it is based on Indian American author Sandhya Menon's 2017 young adult romance novel When Dimple Met Rishi. Apart from his performance as Anmol Malhotra, he has also been widely appreciated for his song Main Chala in season 1 and Kho Gaye in season 2. He is also actively releasing his own music and has released 3 singles so far, Sukoon (2020), Narazi (2023) and Kaise Banu (2023).
