The Power Rangers begin a massive attack on the Universe with Dark Specter (now called Grand Specter) and Scrozzle, as well as re-programmed Thrax who now serves as General Fultank While every active Ranger resists, Lord Zedd discloses his true identity as Zophram, the original Red Eltarian Ranger, accompanied by previously unseen alien Rangers. However, when Scrozzle activates a siphoning beam that depletes the Grid, Billy Cranston engages a secret backup and takes a shot at Scrozzle, apparently neutralizing the threat. Nevertheless, Scrozzle is reconstructed as Throzzle, now intending to weaponize Dark Ranger Gears crafted from stolen powers. While in stasis, Grand Spector uncovers a new realm—our realm—where Power Rangers exist solely as fiction. Throzzle aims to subjugate it. With all Ranger teams incapacitated, Billy and the Morphin Masters develop the Spectrum Ranger, a final-hope hero energized by limited Morphin Fibers. They enlist Matthew Patrick (MatPat), a brilliant yet unexpected choice. Assisting him are the Rangerborgs—Mario, Freddy Fazbear, Monika, and Steve—video game icons endowed with actual character souls and human disguises. Equipped with Gatling Morphers and Ranger Gears, they must thwart the RelmTech Empire, cleanse corrupted Ranger powers, and safeguard both the real world and the Power Rangers legacy itself.
