Character Description

Roger Taylor is a British musician known as the drummer for the rock band Queen. Taylor was born in 1949 in London, England. In 1968, Taylor joined the band Smile after reading an advertisement put up by the band's founders Brian May and Tim Staffell. In 1970, Staffell left to join the band Humpy Bong and Smile disbanded. Staffell's friend Freddie Bulsara was a keen fan of Smile and joined, suggesting to rename it "Queen". Taylor has been a member of Queen ever since.
