Character Description

a British musician known as the lead guitarist for the rock band Queen. May was born in 1947 in London, England. In 1968, May and Tim Staffell formed the band Smile and were soon joined by drummer Roger Taylor. In 1970, Staffell left to join Humpy Bong and Smile disbanded. Staffell's friend Freddie Bulsara, who was a big fan of Smile, joined the band and suggested to rename it "Queen". May has been a member of Queen ever since.
