Lex Luthor is the son of Lionel and Lillian Luthor, wealthy residents of Metropolis. As a teenager, he lived in Smallville, near Metropolis. There he encounters Clark Kent, the two became friends. He recounts how he first became jealous of Superman, as his friendship with Clark drifts. Lex meets his adoptive sister Lena who he never knew he had.
