Dafne Keen Fernández (born 4 January 2005) is a Spanish and British actress. Keen made her child acting debut in the series The Refugees (2015). Her breakthrough role was as Laura in the X-Men superhero film Logan (2017), which she reprised for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). She also starred as Lyra Belacqua in the television series His Dark Materials (2019–2022) and Jecki Lon in the Star Wars series The Acolyte (2024). Two fisherwomen, Giada and Tonia, are out at night trying to catch fish when a strange creature suddenly begins swiping things from their boat. Upon seeing it, they recognize it as a sea monster and try to catch it, but it escapes, much to their dismay. Lucia Paguro is a sea monster who farms goatfish for her family in a hidden area of the ocean. Lucia, bored with her simple life, takes notice of a clock and a joker card that she found on the ocean floor. Her father, Daniele, is highly protective of her and warns her of being caught by anyone from the surface, while her mother, Loretta, is slightly inattentive and distracted. On the other hand, her grandfather openly discusses his adventures on the surface in the past and seems supportive of Lucia wanting to get out.
