Catherine Laga'aia is a Samoan actress who portrays Moana in the 2026 Disney live-action remake of Moana. She also portrayed Young Candy in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart.
It tells the story of Moana, a strong willed teenager and the daughter of a chief, who is chosen by the ocean to restore a mystical relic of the goddess Te Fiti.
