Fan Casting Snake in Live-Action Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Movie Adaptation

n Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, this Snake is codenamed Venom Snake, in which in-game sources recalled that he is not the real Big Boss. He was originally a medic who survived the explosion at Mother Base and was later brainwashed, given surgery, and made to believe he was Big Boss. In Ground Zeroes, Snake infiltrates an American black site in Cuba called Camp Omega, attempting to rescue Cipher agent Paz Ortega Andrade and former Sandinista child soldier Ricardo "Chico" Valenciano Libre. In The Phantom Pain, Snake goes by the codename; Punished “Venom” Snake as he assembles a private military organization; “Diamond Dogs”, alongside Revolver Ocelot and Kazuhira Miller, as he ventures into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan and the Angola–Zaire border region to exact revenge on the antagonist, Skull Face and his organization, XOF, lead by Cipher who are responsible of Paz Ortega’s attempted assassination. Unlike the video game, this Snake is much younger in the movie adaptation than the one in the game, where he’s around 20-25 years old. This decision was made to keep young audiences feeling more mutual, balanced, and comfortable seeing Snake as a young guy where he encounters a relationship with Quiet throughout the story, rather than seeing an older guy falling in love with a very young woman in movies, TV shows, and real life.
