Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin as The Man on Fire is a supernatural enemy in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. He is the resurrected and rage-fueled villain from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. In The Phantom Pain, he relentlessly hunts Venom Snake, mistaking him for the real Big Boss, whom he wants revenge on. He possesses immense power, including pyrokinesis, invulnerability to bullets, and the ability to control fire and explosions. In the movie adaptation, he is a younger version in his 20s.
