Xanthe and her mother Flora leave London behind for a fresh start, taking over an antique shop in Marlborough. Xanthe possesses an unusual gift where some of the antiques will “sing” to her and tell her their stories. When she comes across a chatelaine, Xanthe discovers she can also travel through time.
