Set within the dystopian, hyper-capitalist world known only as "The City", Limbus Company follows Dante, an amnesiac whose head was recently severed in favor of a clock-shaped prosthetic, and the group of 'Sinners' they manage. Dante is rescued by the Limbus Company Bus Department, who then proceed to inform them of their new role as the manager of the team and their quest to find the Golden Boughs, a rare artifact that spawned across the city after the fall of Lobotomy Corporation. This quest leads them throughout the City and into many perils as they confront foes, friends, and even themselves.
