Similar to the majority of the Nursefathers, Shiomi Yoru is a cold woman with the capacity for incredibly cruel words, uncaring in her effects on Ryōshū's mental and physical state in the name of creating a perfected weapon. She carries a bitter resentment of the protégé, choosing to openly admonish her their connection. Despite her attitude towards the woman, she still understood her role as a stepping stone, showing grace—though tarnished with her hatred—even whilst having her tongue cut off.
