Roy Chiao was a Chinese actor most famous in the Western world for playing the minor villain Lao Che in the 1984 movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Senzo Tanaka in Bloodsport.
It’s my favorite movie series and a big reason it’s so special is how amazing the cast is. So I thought it would be an interesting challenge to see how close we could get to replicating the magic with alternate choices from the same era.
