Amanda Michelle Seyfried (/ˈsaɪfrɛd/ SY-fred; born December 3, 1985) is an American actress. She began acting at 15, with recurring roles as Lucy Montgomery in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns (1999–2001) and Joni Stafford in the ABC soap opera All My Children (2003). She came to prominence for her feature film debut in the teen comedy Mean Girls (2004) and her roles as Lilly Kane in the UPN mystery drama series Veronica Mars (2004–2006) and Sarah Henrickson in the HBO drama series Big Love (2006–2011). Seyfried has starred in many films, including Mamma Mia! (2008) and its sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), Jennifer's Body (2009), Dear John (2010), Letters to Juliet (2010), Red Riding Hood (2011), In Time (2011), Les Misérables (2012), A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), Ted 2 (2015), and First Reformed (2017). Seyfried received critical acclaim and nominations for the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for portraying Marion Davies in David Fincher's biopic Mank (2020). For her starring role as Elizabeth Holmes in the Hulu miniseries The Dropout (2022), she won the Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. We can hardly believe that he played episodic roles in 160 television movies or series and another 63 cinema films, and yet he became known almost exclusively as a white-haired old man from crazy parodies. Leslie William Nielsen was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and grew up in Tulita. His mother, Mabel Elizabeth (Davies), was Welsh. Father, Ingvard Eversen Nielsen, was a lieutenant in the Canadian Mounted Police, born in Denmark. His acting career began at a much earlier age, when he was forced to lie to his father in order to avoid severe punishment. After moving to Alberta, the Royal Canadian Air Force to pursue a career as a shooter. As the saying goes, all good things will end one day, and just as he was about to go overseas, World War II ended. He then began working as a disc jockey at a radio station in Calgary. In 1948, he got his first small role in an episode of Studio One. He began receiving big offers, playing musicals, science fiction, drama, Ben-Hur, Western, in the acclaimed Tammy and Bachelor. then he became the white-haired all-powerful king of comedy, statesman, secret agent, president, dracula, exorcised devil, Santa, etc. On October 10, 2002, he was appointed an officer of the Order of Canada.
