The firstborn child of Ozai, Zuko is disfavored by his father because of his more peaceful and compassionate nature, As a result, Zuko is desperate to prove himself to his father, hence deciding to take part in the battles with his Uncle Iroh against Admiral Zhao and his rebels. But when Arata is destined to take Ozai's place, Zuko, having grown close to him, becomes torn between helping Arata restore peace, and being loyal to his father. Only time will tell which side he choses.
