William Atherton Knight (born July 30, 1947) is an American actor, best known for portraying Richard Thornburg in Die Hard and its sequel and Walter Peck in Ghostbusters.
A legendary police officer refused to retire despite his family's requests until one day he was killed in action that would lead to his family learning his origins at the funeral and some surprises as a result.
