In the aftermath of a deadly virus outbreak, society collapses as the infected transform into vicious, mindless zombies. Four unlikely survivors—Bill, a grizzled Vietnam vet; Zoey, a resilient college student; Louis, an optimistic IT worker; and Francis, a tough biker—band together, navigating through devastated cities and eerie rural areas in a desperate bid for survival. Facing relentless hordes and mutated threats like the Tank and the Witch, they must overcome not only the infected but also dwindling supplies and growing tensions. Despite their differences, their bond strengthens as they fight for each other, realizing that survival depends on teamwork. Meanwhile, in the Southern U.S., a new group of survivors emerges: Coach, Rochelle, Nick, and Ellis. As they journey through swampy bayous and desolate highways, they face new dangers like the Charger and Spitter while navigating unpredictable environments. Both groups are brought together, briefly joining forces to raise a bridge, sharing their struggles in a fleeting but powerful encounter. However, the reunion is bittersweet, as Bill sacrifices himself to ensure the others’ escape. As they part ways, the survivors are reminded that in this apocalyptic world, the bonds they form and their collective will to survive are their greatest weapons against the horrors that pursue them.
