David Ayer (born January 18, 1968) is an American filmmaker known for making crime films that are set in Los Angeles and deal with gangs and police corruption. His screenplays include Training Day (2001), The Fast and the Furious (2001), and S.W.A.T. (2003). He has also directed Harsh Times (2005), Street Kings (2008), End of Watch (2012), Sabotage (2014), and The Beekeeper (2024). In 2016, he directed the superhero movie Suicide Squad from the DC Extended Universe and then the urban fantasy film Bright (2017) for Netflix. He has twice collaborated with actor Shia LaBeouf: first with the World War II drama Fury (2014), then the crime thriller The Tax Collector (2020). He has also collaborated with his friend Cle Shaheed Sloan, who has appeared in four of his films. This is James Gunn's Dcu With what he has revealed I will build off of it and create my own. Building off of the start of his universe. Hal and John are both already lanterns. This story is set on precinct earth but each mystery they uncover is alien related. Hal and John encounter people who are shape shifting. They encounter one of them and get into a fight and they transform into their normal form. It is a large white creature who is very hostile. the Creature is able to escape. They are able to track down more instances and they encounter another shape shifter this time it is friendly and shifts into a police officer. He explains that they are martians from mars and the war between the green and white martians. That the white martians were banished from mars to the still zone but the rest of them escaped to earth. They encounter a young girl who appears to be a martian. At first she seems nice then something seemingly comes over her and she fights them. they are able to knock her out when she wakes up she has no idea what happened she was seemingly controlled she takes on the persona megan. She explains that in her mind she just sees flames and the world burning in her mind. Martian Manhunter explains this story as a "myth" on mars Fernus. the lanterns contact the guardians of the universe they seemed to be hiding the truth.
