Betty Gabriel is an American stage, film and television actress. She holds a BA in Animal Science from Iowa State University, Ames, and graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City, New York, USA.

After being rejected from nearly every school she dreamed of attending, aspiring filmmaker Joey is offered a spot at one of the top art schools in Texas- one she cannot afford. Desperate to attend regardless, she discovers a scholarship that would cover the first two years of her schooling, and is given a six month window to make a documentary. Despite her subject being that of two local artists, the camera quickly turns its lens to her.
