After being defeated by Barbara, Jason actually found himself in Hell after these events - at least until the moment where Freddy somehow managed to send him to Springwood, taking advantage of his "weaker" stage. Despite being manipulated by him, it doesn't take long for Voorhees to want to settle accounts with whoever took him from home - and whoever else he find.
