There lies a peaceful, colorful planet at the center of the cosmos called Planet Popstar, and this planet is home to a grand kingdom known as Dream Land. However, one day, the land's greedy, grouchy ruler, King Dedede, is possessed by a strange entity, and starts using his minions to seize the lands food for himself. Kirby, a young Star Warrior, decide to step up to traverse the land and stop the king, while also finding a way to get the entity possessing him to go away and return the land to peace.
