These are sound effects that were made by Skywalker Sound. They were made by Gary Rydstrom, and they debuted in A Bug's Life (1998). These were made by combining the sounds of Rydstrom blowing a playing card while waving it back and forth and playing a kazoo (for Dot), as well as a fly buzzing and him flapping paper towels (for Princess Atta).
