Fan Casting L-Ron in Kevin Smith's Superman Lives

Brainiac's long-suffering robotic assistant and comic foil. L-Ron is a small, sarcastic robot with a tendency toward dry observations and reluctant loyalty. He serves his "Liege" with exasperated efficiency, monitoring the Skull Ship's systems, releasing the Thanagarian Snare Beast, and occasionally offering unsolicited advice ("Go with entrance 'B'"). Though Brainiac treats him as disposable, L-Ron survives the film's climax, scooping up Brainiac's remains and quipping, "I know, I know. But I'm a glutton for punishment." He provides rare moments of levity in an otherwise dark narrative.
