Stina Destry Heks (pronounced Stee-nuh Des-tree Hec-ks) is a female elf, and the daughter of Timkin and Vika Heks. In the earlier books, she and Sophie had a strong rivalry and Stina was constantly taunting her and trying to bully her. In Neverseen, she is willing to change her view on Sophie if Sophie can heal the gnomes. In Lodestar, it is revealed she is an Empath, like her mother. In Flashback, she assists her mother Vika in delivering the alicorn twins. In Legacy, she becomes a member of Team Valiant, and helps Sophie in many ways, proving that she is not as mean as she once was.
