Twelve year old Sophie Foster is a Telepath. This means she can read other peoples minds and hear their thoughts without wanting to. Until she meets Fitz Vacker. Fitz also turns out to be a Telepath and takes her to the Lost Cities where she meets Biana, Keefe, Tam, Linh, Maruca, Wylie, Stina, Edaline and Grady. Sophie must defend her friends and herself from a group called the Neverseen and must join the group called the Black Swan to keep herself safe.
