The leader of Team Drizzle. Leonidas greatly idolized Lysandre for his wealth, fame and power, and desperately vied to be as powerful and great as him, so he joined Team Flare as a member of its younger generation. However, he butted heads with his superiors, who felt that he was too hungry for power and status even by their standards, so he broke off and formed Team Drizzle with members who were similarly disillusioned with Team Flare's practices. Though Leonidas styles himself as cool and powerful, he has a hopelessly fragile ego, and is continually obsessed with being a wealthy, all-powerful ruler who can crush all who dare to stand before him—and as it just so happens, the Ultimate Weapon Lysandre once tried to wield is left untouched and there's plenty of Mega Energy deposits around the region that he could easily use to power it...
