While Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman investigate Lex Luthor's plans, a new intergalactic threat emerges: Brainiac, a megalomaniacal planet collector who intends to add Earth to his collection. It's up to the trinity of heroes to assemble a team of metahumans to stop Brainiac before it's too late, but a figure from Superman's past emerges.
