Superman, shaken by the devastation of War, has recommitted to being a guardian — not a global enforcer. In Atlantis, he sees echoes of Krypton: a once-great civilization doomed by pride and secrecy. He advocates strongly for peaceful resolution, even putting himself between militaries and civilians in flooded cities. However, as the crisis deepens and the military ignores his warnings, he begins to doubt whether hope is enough. His arc culminates in recognizing that power alone can't solve political conflict — leadership, example, and solidarity must follow. He begins forming bonds with Arthur, seeing a fellow orphan of two worlds struggling with identity.
