Sebastian Stan (born August 13, 1982) is a Romanian-born American actor. He gained recognition for his role as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, beginning with the film Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and serving as a lead actor in the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and the film Thunderbolts*( 2025). On television, Stan played Carter Baizen in Gossip Girl (2007–2010) and the Mad Hatter in Once Upon a Time (2012), and starred in the miniseries Political Animals (2012). In 2022, he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Tommy Lee in the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, earning nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. On Broadway, Stan has appeared in the Eric Bogosian play Talk Radio (2007) and starred in the William Inge play Picnic (2013). On film, Stan had a supporting role in The Martian (2015), and starred in I, Tonya (2017) and Fresh (2022). For his performance in A Different Man (2024), he won a Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. For his portrayal of a young Donald Trump in The Apprentice (2024), Stan earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. A few months after the Justice League was formed, it reunites following a series of attacks on coastlines around the world, carried out by a group from underwater. When Atlantis claims responsibility for the attacks, the Justice League intervenes, stopping the last attack led by Prince Orin/Arthur, who justifies the attacks by claiming that the surface attacked first, through the terrorist known as Ocean Master. The Justice League then acts on three fronts: Batman, along with Martian Manhunter, investigates Orin's claims; Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and Flash confront the Atlantean forces on the surface; while Superman and Wonder Woman go to Atlantis, along with Orin, seeking diplomacy. However, things become complicated when Orm, Arthur's brother and current king of Atlantis, is revealed as the terrorist Ocean Master, responsible for the attacks on his own people, manipulating both sides into war in pursuit of more power. With the League's help, Orin manages to expose his brother, dethroning him for attacking his own people, but it's not over yet. Orm unleashes the Kraken beast as he and his supporters advance to launch an attack on the surface. The Justice League joins forces with Orin to confront him, stop the threat, and prevent war between the two peoples.
