Founded in 1923 by brothers Harry Warner, Albert Warner, Sam Warner, and Jack L. Warner, in addition to producing its own films, it handles filmmaking operations, theatrical distribution, marketing and promotion for films produced and released by other Warner Bros. labels, including Warner Animation Group, New Line Cinema, DC Films, and Castle Rock Entertainment, as well as various third-party producers.

O.M.A.C.s are individuals dispersed globally who unknowingly possess invasive technology within their bodies. Once activated, this technology can be employed to surveil the environments of the human hosts, manipulate their physical actions, or convert any of them into one of a visually indistinguishable group of remote-controlled superhuman entities. The human hosts of the O.M.A.C. technology serve as unwitting sleeper agents for Maxwell Lord, a former associate of the Justice League. As the fate of Earth teeters on the edge, the Justice League faces its greatest challenge in their confrontation with the O.M.A.C.s.
